Heard from my friend in GPU team that there was10-20% base salary adjustment early this week, on top of 15-20% adjustment last year. This makes the GPU team pay ridiculously high compared to their roadmap and workload. After this adjustment GPU team's sr. staff level gets pay a lot higher than average Principal/Director level in other department. Mobile GPU has no roadmap and it's been beaten by Apple alread, half of the elites already jumped the ship. So the top management just gives fat check to retain "incompetent" guys left over.

If you are frustrated with company, you think you are not given right compensation, jump the boat to right one. Dont be a whiner.

Completely agreed. It’s no much value to main such a big GPU organization with high cost.
Blame Jim Thompson, he had no clue on value add. They should just license Mali core and be done with it like most other IP. Q is becoming a zero value add company with everything but modem.
