I entered the workforce right around the recession/recovery time period - 2010. I haven't spent all my years at Pepsi, but of the now 8 or 9 years I have been working, there have been mass layoffs EVERY YEAR at every company I have been at. I've luckily survived every wave, but feels like it's only a matter of time....

Time to move on, don’t get trapped there. You see what happens as you build seniority
there, you only become a bigger target, and it’s only going to get worse and become more of a sweatshop.
I was let go after 39 years. Honestly, I think I avoided at least 7 or 8 round of cuts, every time stressed, every time anxious. Now, it's over - got discarded like I never worked there. It's sad, it was my choice though. Good luck to you all, my son works there and I am hearing you are getting ready for cuts again.
You have very lucky and never be in the wrong place at the wrong time to make a career with PepsiCo. Very very few people make it.
