12 years, more managers than ever, half of the workers gone

Been working here for 12 years

Back in the John coyne era, the management hierarchy counting my self to coyne is 6 layers.

Post merger, after countless layoffs, the hierarchy is now 12 layers.

We have more managers than ever, yet less workers than ever.

These layoffs has been turned into power grabbing self pomoting oppotunities for the high ups.

Wd media Penang gone Layoff 20% workforce ,closing down 1plant by end of March.Layoff in 3 stages .No official confirmation by HR & ineffective worker union #+#@+ until now but one by one the production line is stopping .

The senior management for the WD client branded solutions definitely should be the first to be kicked out.. maybe investigated in March .. although I don't expect for any of this to happen because as usual they gonna layoff the engineers technicians and project managers and what ever savings that layoff achieved they (senior management) will get it back as big bonuses for cutting opex..

Consistent with the same type of great management that allows posts Connect blog posts from a caucasian executive dressed up as a "chinaman" to celebrate lunar new year. Imagine if the post had been done in blackface.

Expected more to be layoff if unable to qualify new product. Penang media layoff will announce 7th Mac 2019. Will shut down 1 plant & maintain only 1 plant running until Jun.

Need urgent get rid of all top level management.dead weight.just waiting for $$$.

Going from good to gone. The crossfit culture is spewing toxic waste with every management excercise. All good ideas are being punished. Only the power hungry, opportunistic leaders are surviving. Layoffs in March going to be again a random,thoughtless excercise. Cost cutting done right, can lead to better outcomes.
