Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Airwatch feedback

Hows the Airwatch team / business doing ?

Have been coming across few PM / Dev openings in Bangalore.

Is it a good team to work with ? Is VMware continuing to look at it as an important entity and continuing to invest in it ? Is it prone to layoffs etc ?

This is a major problem all across EUC. Many managers work their butts off with their development and quality teams but directors and VPS are only politicking. They waste time and money travelling between locations living lavishly on VMware account. AW s---s.

Airwatch team right now is full of not so useful directors and managers. VMware should take full control of it. It's due 4 years now.

AW/WS1 is doing great. Big $-making business for VMW.

CEO and CFO spoke highly of AW/WS1 during earnings call with analysts. Majority of AW/WS1 team is still in Atlanta, Boston and Palo Alto.

Brahmin-centric Bengaluru EUC Horizon team is upset that they cannot get their lousy hands on it.

Currently on AirWatch projects it’s a disaster forcing AW products into VMW.Needs VMW to take full control of AW and do it the VMW way.
