They certainly didn't waste any time

For those who were hoping it would take some time before layoffs started - boy were you wrong...

What you have to understand is that they have already delayed these layoffs due to the appeal, which gave them that much longer to refine their reorg and lay off targets so do not be surprised as how quickly they move. Additionally get used to it, reorgs are an at least once a year thing under AT&T.
