I am not sure how much control they have anymore. 75% of stock owned by outside institutions I think. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. Good Luck NTI friends.
I agree with the posts that Kim Mcwaters does need to go. if only to give the employees hope that this company can turn itself around. maybe that's about to happen who knows the company has no interest in telling the employees the truth no matter what they say in those webinars.
look this company is doomed is there anyone really still working at UTI who doesn't realize that. todays layoffs aren't even the worst of it there is much more to come. try forced furloughs, benefit cuts and more campus closures. everyone working at UTI should spend their remaining days looking for something else at least get paid while you job search don't wait until you're laid off with no severance.
Don't worry... Tuition prices go up April 1st, yes really and that's no April
fools. The fools are the leadership at the campuses and the Home Office and the new students spending on the upward end of $38,000.00 to make $10.50 an hour at your local Nissan & Toyota dealerships! Resign Kim-Impossible!
I saw good people let go today! Today was one of the worst days Ive ever experienced at NASCAR Tech. Friends that worked hard! People that will now struggle! Im sick of this leadership team both at the campus and the Home Office. STEP DOWN KIM MCWATERS!!! You've run this business into the ground! You've made bad, terrible business decisions, hired lousy leadership! What does it take? You're a drain on the company! What do you really do anymore? You're an email on the day before a holiday, that's all we ever see of you. Think of this... change the world one life at a time and RESIGN! The results of the RIF certainly changed the world one life at time for my coworkers!!! If you took the salaries and bonuses of the chaff at the Home Office we could have saved the folks from the campuses, who by the way are needed, were all so overworked at this point.
My Director is never available. She comes in late and leaves early. She's always on her phone. I walked by her office the other day and a coworker was doing her nails! This is ok? This is an example of leadership at it's finest? Im sure this isn't why peoples lives are now altered by being laid off! The writing is on the walls my friends...FIND OTHER EMPLOYMENT!
Glad to see nobody missed out on their bonus. That would be a shame.
$7.7 million loss the first quarter. $2.8 million paid out in bonuses. Keep in mind, everyone at your campus who has Director and above in their title is on the bonus plan...…but remember "we're all in this together"
Middle of the week.
at least two in Houston as well.
About 5 let go here. Hope KIM and her cronies get some more bonus money out of the savings.
