For-Profit Nursing Graduates More Likely to Fail Licensure Test

"A study published by researchers at George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health found that graduates from for-profit nursing programs were more likely to fail the National Council Licensure Examination on the first try compared to their peers from public and nonprofit institutions."

The way they keep the "88 percent pass rate" is because a large percentage never even make it to the test, especially among the online students.

Nursing students talk amongst themselves for info on the easiest schools. In my professional opinion too many pass. I won't even hire a candidate if they don't have real world clinical experience. It's sad out here to watch the new blood come in completely unaware.
