I’m one of those affected by the layoffs. While the company’s severance package was above normal, it was disappointing seeing them favor keeping lower paid (and mostly lower performing) employees. It showed the true motivation was about cost savings, not quality of work. Most of us were happy to leave the now extremely toxic work environment thanks to the CEO who comes out of this acquisition $15mil richer. He ruined a once great company to work for.
