It seems to me that the only way West leadership knows how to fix the dwindling profits is through layoffs - which is a short-term solution, mildly put. If we lose a client, instead of trying to find a replacement or trying to figure out why we lost them in the first place and fix the issue, those on top eliminate hundreds of jobs and consider the problem solved. Of course, considering that layoffs never actually solved anything long term, the whole cycle continues to repeat.
If we could only replace the entire upper management, maybe then some positive things would start to happen here.
