What do you think may happen in Tucson in 2019?

Evidence would suggest that the Tucson Facility is due for a review and realignment of resources. The Accountant Division is disjointed with majority of the team concentrated in Plano, Texas. The reality is you have a bifurcated system of education and wages in comparison to Tucson and Plano. It is no secret that the sales force in Tucson is under-educated(no college degree) or have a McDegree but are well paid as if they hold legitimate four year college degrees like most other Fortune 500 companies. It would make business sense to refocus resources to Plano and hire new college graduates for entry level positions who have better skill sets than the accountant team in Tucson and not pay a premium for low educational attainment. For the same amount of money(less money) you can get college educated talent in Plano which positions Intuit better for future growth with lower costs. Most accountants have college degrees and it make sense you should have talent who can align on the same level otherwise disrupters will take its toll on market share especially in the era of A.I. The alignment of synergy and intellectual capital is a pragmatic strategy to future challenges.
