He has a track record of building highly successful software products and platforms; was just very threatening to the rest of the team within EUC Workspace ONE. These are leaders scared of hiring smart people and giving acquired executives latitude to innovate and drive business growth. Leaders (GM's, VP's and Sr. Directors) who are scared of losing their jobs by hiring weak individuals, will eventually lose their job as well. Smart executives with track record of buidling ML, Big Data Analytics and Data Engineering Platforms are the hottest commodity. Neither Pat nor Raghu/Rajiv realize the magnitude of this targeted layoffs in EUC WS1.

I bet the rest of the acquisitions hires at EUC workspace 1 intelligence will be let go and replace them with organic obedient fresh grads. This is how the VP of engineering gets to keep his job. Hiring low end managers to micromanage staff. He did this for programming group. He did this for data science group. Discrimintory practices on daily basis. But the good news is that he is under investigation. Let's see what happens.

From 1st hand experience many of us are enduring: Illegal questions during interviews intended to ascertain heritage, petty reasons to disqualify excellent candidates, lingual and regional biases, etc, etc.
An excellent applicant was deemed unworthy of follow up interview and was rejected by Indian manager after a 10 minute call. Same applicant was hired by a NON-Indian manager for the same position a few weeks later. Apparently Indian manager was transferred to a different team and his replacement hired the same applicant.
Indian recruiter based in Texas did not even phone-screen an internally referred applicant. A different NON-Indian recruiter arranged onsite interviews and the person was hired for the same job within 3 weeks. The person has a Middle Eastern name.
There are certain functional groups with Indian managers that have only Indians from same Indian region. Similar functional groups with NON-Indian managers have very diverse employees. I can post several names as example for you to check through "Source" but india-leaning HR would immediately remove this post.
Similar incidents are happening across the company; NSXBU is top violator of US laws aganist discriminatory hiring practices.
Don't be surprised if CA EEOC files lawsuit against NSXBU (and EUC WS1 Intelligence). Evidence is being gathered.

I go out of my way to hire qualified ppl from more diverse background, same is the case with most other managers I know here. I don't know where the folks posting here get an idea that Indians are more concerned for their brethrens than the product we work hard for ?
