Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Any signs that we could see that indicate we’re being cut?

Is there any way we can anticipate our layoff? Does anything happen before? Different behaviour of your manager, not getting new projects or anything similar? Is a layoff even possible to anticipate?

Some groups were not especially surprised - lots of hiring & new projects in Germany/Asia last year but not in the US, or poor income for some products - and the past few weeks many were worried that not enough people were taking an early retirement being offered in some divisions.

But at least one group I know had just (two weeks ago) gotten Waldorf $$approval for a major new product initiative. They were more than a little surprised to have all their US employees laid off.

So you can never tell 100%.
