Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Life After DCEH Collapse

The job market is great and good companies are hiring. It took me 2 months, but there are much better jobs outside of AI, Argosy, and South. I had multiple offers with more reputable companies that understood the situation with DCEH. Companies don't care how DCEH collapsed, but care more what skills you bring to the table to better their (and your) bottom line. Also, you won’t be overworked, underpaid, and treated like trash 🗑 I worked to the bone before being let go in February. Many opportunities exist, you only need to network, apply, interview, and repeat until you get the job you want. Life is better after DCEH :)

Student Here -

Would have graduated this quarter. I've got my 12 month forbearance for my loans as well keeping up to date with everything. Just signed for a salary position and will be promoted from my current position starting next month. Speaking for my friends, a few are working for notable brands part/full time at jobs of their industry. Mostly everyone is moving on, and finding new jobs or continuing education.

`spose we're better off eh?

I'm making about the same money when I transferred to South but for less pay so I got a part time job drilling a holes into hobby horses. Certain skills do carry over, absolutely.

Yes. Opportunity outside DCEH does exist. Not as easy not the same pay not online but it exists.
