Divestiture of Service Provider Video Software Solutions On October 28, 2018 , we completed the sale of the Service Provider Video Software Solutions business. This business had tangible assets of approximately $160 million (primarily comprised of accounts receivables, inventories and various other current and long-term assets) and net intangible assets and goodwill (based on relative fair value) of $340 million . In addition, the business had total liabilities of approximately $200 million (primarily comprised of deferred revenue and various other current and long-term liabilities). We recognized an immaterial gain from this transaction in the second quarter of fiscal 2019.

Pending Divestiture On May 1, 2018, the Company announced a definitive agreement to sell its Service Provider Video Software Solutions ("SPVSS") business. As of April 28, 2018, this business had tangible assets of approximately $200 million (primarily comprised of accounts receivables, inventories and various other current and long-term assets) and net intangible assets and goodwill (based on relative fair value) of $300 million. In addition, the business had total liabilities of approximately $370 million (primarily comprised of deferred revenue and various other current and long-term liabilities). These assets and liabilities were held for sale and were not presented separately as the amounts were not material to the Consolidated Balance Sheet. Read the Cisco Jan 10Q. Cisco had an “immaterial” gain from the video sale. Forget $1B, they gave it away to rid themselves of the headaches. Permira just needs to draw down whatever cash can still be generated. THEY will be okay.

Managers helping each other climb the corporate ladder that was built on the backs of the people...yet now those people are all losing their jobs. But guess what, they all remain and they take credit for doing what is needed. What was needed is proactive, not reactive. Piss poor management at the Director and VP levels. Wake up Yves...

There is just too much politics and self hidden agenda that the management is entirely clueless what is happening on the ground level.

No one really knows who is doing what and what they are doing. A constant reminder that everyone time is up if you are not part of the "tribe".
