Thread regarding GE Digital layoffs

No customers should ever trust any industrial IOT solutions from GE

San Ramon started quiet lay-off in 2016 but saw it coming in early 2015 when operations couldn’t support the apps offered to other GE businesses. Management team was the worst in Silicon Valley. It was full of old-Cisco burnouts who are still pulling down over $150k/year salaries completely screwing over shareholders & customers. No customers should ever trust any industrial IOT solutions from GE.

150k is the salary of a senior engineer, non-manager in the valley. In other areas it is less though.

Not true at all. The older GE Digital solutions (Proficy and such) are perfectly good.

Yeah market rate for most senior Digital program managers and architects are north of 150K in most US metro areas. There is nothing extraordinary with the 150K number

$150k/year salaries for management? Are you kidding. Even regular SP band get higher than that number
