Thread regarding Perspecta layoffs

So many people gone

Working on a team that was previously nine and is now four once the next person leaves next week and planning myself to leave in the weeks following, I can confirm that the management is too ineffective to attract even warm bodies to place in seats for our firm fixed-price contract. I won't be surprised when our contract gets a bad rating on our period of performance and the contract gets pulled on the first option year of a five-year contract. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion, but slightly more hilarious. I feel bad for anyone depending on this organization for their livelihood, but I encourage the to seek better options while the economy is strong.

Agree total disaster of company. These vps running this company will line their pockets underpay the new workforce and fire anyone making good wage who has been with legacy EDS and HP. Mgmt will tell falsehoods to keep the new underpaid workforce happy. Run away from this mess!

Same here. There is a steady stream of people leaving. No sign of those people getting replaced. I am also planning on leaving as soon as possible. No reason to stay around when your workload keeps increasing due to folks leaving, and you still get the same old c-appy pay (no raises).

Look at the company job postings on LinkedIn, you can see how many applicants have applied to the job.... most vacancies are barely being looked at or applied to.

Word to the wise, stay away. Look elsewhere.
