I really don’t see how we can do what is being asked. Can AR stabilize this sinking ship ? Can he?

@YMFcBay-7sav the RSUs would have been factored into the acquisition costs, so are a relative drop in the bucket.
However, Hock will try and pay off the CA deal as quickly as possible, and if he doesn’t have to pay out RSUs then so much the better, it hits the bottom line.
@YMFcBay-3tbv I agree about the staff issue. We've already seen this before with UIM and Fort Collins. There is a critical mass in engineering. When too many seasoned people leave the product tends to collapse. That said, history shows you are wrong about the RSUs. Broadcom has been paying these out for years already, it was not something new for the CA acquisition. I believe the entire grant was already accounted for on the books, so their is no "paying for them" in the future.
“More job security for me”
Not so fast. If the product line has high attrition hock has previous considered the line “tainted”. Having an understaffed group which spends time frantically working/hiring is the beginning of the end. Hock will sell you as its best days are considered over. Then your RSU is toast the buyer will keep you for a 3 month transition role while you get your foreign replacement up to speed. Oh and if your not willing to spend your 3 month transition assignment in Vietnam (or wherever) it’s considered your resignation. Hope for Singapore. You naive people have no idea what is going to happen to some of your colleagues. Possibly you. Broadcom can’t possibly pay the high RSU to everyone. It’s a bribe to look the other way once you see the unfair carnage. Services going to HCL, more examples coming. Welcome to Broadcom
Good... Leave... More job security for me! I am never leaving Broadcom!
AR promise to make us millionairs? like he promised everyone is still going to be there in the townhall before the infinity gaunlet snap?
He mentioned at his last town hall we can all become millionaires working for Broadcom
He needs to stop trying to earn another masters degree and spend time looking for his next job. Extremely underqualified from an execution standpoint with no leadership skills to motivate the team.
