Hopefully we can get back to being an engineering company. He ruined Fluor.

The board should pack up too. They allowed this to happen.
Shiva for CEO!!!!!
Anyone see the video of HO townhall? Who is this guy?
We have done nothing to help execution. We have added a couple of project management chicks to oversee engineering. Added PCE garbage. Unison nonsense. Unicorn rainbows and QRS , data centric execution when only 5% of the company understands anything about big data. None of which helps execution. Where does the clean up begin?
Nepotism??? NOOO well, except for one married couple working for another married couple in the HO office....there's that....
@Just_a_grunt_who_observes; couldn't agree more. Seems like nepotism is a big problem as well.
I have hope for the first time in years. Been watching inept "pretty boys and girls" with no intellect or even common sense getting away with STUPID and costly actions, but then later rewarded, promoted and greatly compensated. These incompetents then surrounded themselves with other id--ts who said what management wanted to hear. Meanwhile, Rome is burning.
The only way forward is to hold management accountable for the mis-steps, and to promote competent management forward. Focus needs to be on PROJECT EXECUTION, not reactive bean counting and expensive corporate initiatives that are just kingdom builders for the elites.
More work needs to be done domestically, and the global offices need to be coached and utilized effectively - instead of just throwing work over the wall and dealing with mistakes only long after the fact. Seaton and his ilk ruined the Fluor brand.
Fluor needs management - not spin doctors.
Will be interesting to watch. Bring popcorn. It's not going to be easy to fix. We are a mess and need so many changes. I'll be convinced we are back on track when the guys who have done nothing or have screwed up everything they have touched and have been promoted to VP are removed. It's called accountability. JB was a good first move.
I don't have the details regarding when it will happen because the it has to go to the board to be approved. Within the next 4 months. They won't rush because it would look rash to investors. I don't know about anyone else leaving at the moment because again it wouldnt look good to investors.
My sources have informed me that the CEO of AMECO will be appointed as Fluor's CEO... Came from a reliable source.. This should be interesting

Could be worse...we aren’t McDermott!
Here's a tip for Carlos...
Stop 90/10 workshare splits
Stop project management making id--tic decisions they shouldn't be making
Get a sales team that knows what they are selling
Stop stacking projects with overhead folks. If you dont provide deliverables, you dont get staffed.
Listen to people with experience.
Stop unrealistic schedules
Now wheres my 12 million for making CEO decisions?
Will Unison and PC&E be sc-apped when they find out the money spent with little to no results?
Is Ray B. Next? IBM has raped and pillaged enough from Fluor.
It will take years to undo the ridiculous decisions by Seaton.
Did his job get outsourced to Manila. It's cheaper there I hear.
You think we can get someone who knows anything about what we do? Not a sales person.
Hopefully there are others following him off the sinking ship.
