I worked in Centralized Accounting in Pittsburgh for a few years. I left voluntarily in the middle of March but still keep in touch with a handful of the 15-20 who are still there. I'm not sure where everything goes from here, but they said they were being let go on Friday, May 31st. I don't know if all of CA is being disbanded, but I believe they were last of the DCEH/Studio/insert-random-company-signing-paychecks employees, aside from maybe those at the very top. Such a sad end to all of this.

Jan. 7: Studio and DCEH enter agreements greenlit by the Ed Department that entail the transfer, for $1, of eight Art Institutes and the remaining South University system to the nonprofit Education Principle Foundation (EPF), which was previously controlled by Colbeck executives. Studio is to perform numerous services while the spin-off schools continue using DCEH's information technology systems.
Feb. 7: In a letter to top Ed Department official Diane Auer Jones, Dottore outlines DCEH's dire cash position, which he blames in part on the deal to spin off the Art Institutes and South campuses to EPF. He alleges that Studio received management fees for services it didn't perform and that $9 million in Title IV money meant for DCEH went to spin-off colleges, creating "windfalls" for them.
Feb. 22: In a follow-up report, Dottore alleges there were possible "irregularities" in DCEH colleges' Title IV requests before receivership started.
Feb. 27: The Ed Department pulls Title IV funding for Argosy over the missing stipends, calling Dottore's failure to pay them out a "severe breach" of fiduciary standards.
I’m at south online in Pittsburgh and things seem to be stabilizing.
So will all the schools close?
Can students still order official transcripts? Where?
I’m happy 😃 .... bout time ya weasels
Accounting you say...
So, where did all the money go???
Who is doing the embezzling?
Will all employee/COBRA medical claims be paid by May 31?
The receivership ends on May31st, so yes, all of DCEH will be done that day as well. If former students need anything after May 31st, they will most likely need to contact their state department of education for records.
