Is it just me? Seems like this board has devolved to Camden posting random things, unfounded rumors, or vague insinuations but nothing that really is meaningful. Nothing better to do than try to stir the pot in any way he can think of?

@YmUZ1zl-9hku, there are others with inside information. They are watching but they are not posting. and they are doing things behind the scenes to CYA.
Everyone with the inside information has been laid off. IT guy gone, Po gone, WTF guy gone, ........
The culture is plagued with fear and is toxic. Those who remain do so because they will be laid off with a decent severance and be able to go on unemployment while looking for a new job. Why not! And at the upper levels, directors and managers are very well paid and many are compensated at the higher ranges of the pay scale for the industry and position. My campus director is paid north of 170K. And this is at a teach-out campus. She has two direct reports. I constantly complained about my pay levels while in admin; however I discovered it was much higher compared with comparable institutions. This is true for VP levels, directors and most managers. They would be foolish to leave given the unlikelihood they can replicate current salaries elsewhere. My admin position was cut. I received a generous severance, tuition benefits for a year at UOP (but it was only at UOP so I would never take advantage of it), and was able to draw unemployment while looking for another job which I landed after 12 months but at 25% lower compensation. That is why people stay........purely economics. Also there is far less scrutiny at the campus level, especially at teach-out campuses and many are now able to telecommute several days a week. Basically people do far less work and are paid the same until the campuses teach out.
Camden is a protestor without portfolio. His ravings are bereft of integrity, awareness, acumen, and confidence. He clearly suffers from SAD and is afflicted with inferiority. Camden, please cease and desist your unappreciated and ill-conceived ramblings.
At what point is the pay not worth it? At what point will (more) people talk?
Not seeing all the “raving” and “positive” reviews on Glassdoor. Surprisingly, there was no mention of employee snow cone appreciation days and holiday parties at video arcades under the “pros” of working at UOP.
The bottom line is tenured employees stay because of the pay and vacation. The newer employees accept UOP in its present state because that’s all they know. It used to be a good place to work back in the day, but those days are long gone.
@YmUZ1zl-1vwt, maybe those people should post on GlassDoor. That could create pressure on the company to take better care of its workers.
Can’t speak for everyone, but my colleagues all hate it here and are looking for an exit plan. It’s a topic of daily conversation.
judging by GlassDoor, it looks like those who remain are very happy.
It is not just you. It is obvious he is spinning into deeper mental illness with each post. We should pray for him but not encourage his Outburst here
