[email protected] Is right on. Force these jokers to close the school and give students a chance to get their loan money back.

Faculty and staff will have a. I bet of legal options if the school closes. You only have two if it doesn’t.

It is only a matter of time before this school closes. The new owner has no cash to pay you. How long will you work for free?

If none of you are being paid but continue to work, the best option is to leave. Not for the same reason that the people below are complaining about, but because the schools continue to run while you’re there. Of the schools are running, it hurts the students as well.

It’d instead make more sense to walk away. No teachers, no classes. They can’t hire more people if they don’t have the money to pay current staff, and students will not get their money back without the school closing. As faculty, they’re not worried about you because you’re not getting paid but you still show. Instead, it’s free labor and they still get to take advantage of the students paying for tuition.

It’ll take a long time to ever receive pay, of any. We teach our students to understand our worth as artists, why would you work for free? I’ve been honest with mine because they see what’s going on now, and they know I won’t be here the moment my pay doesn’t go through. I practice what I preach.

"until you pay us" ... Who are some of your talking to? You realize this site isn't associated with Dream Center or any of the campuses, right? Complaining here isn't doing anything.

You know they are paying themselves.

Yes leave and someone unqualified will be reassigned to teach our class(es), if we leave and/or we level with our students.

FYI if you want to play leader, you need to learn to deal with faculty “b-t- - y and whining”. It is not like in your classroom calling out your students as b-t-hs and making a menstrual joke. God knows as a faculty member ALL YOU DID WAS B-T-H!

Damn right we will continue to bring up the backpay and regular pay - until you pay us. If you can’t stop lieing to the press to make yourself look good.

As part of the AILV restructure all staff and faculty are volunteers. This will enable the cost to students to be substantially dropped.

It's not about not wanting to be there.

Get over yourself.

It's about the promise of being paid this week that has been broken.

It's about trust.

Why keep working if you're not being paid? Being "promised" backpay from this company? Why take the risk, that money isn't coming.

Please stop b--ching about the backpay. We all know. If you don't want to be there then leave. Someone else will do your job. You will eventually get your backpay and every student and staff member will be better off!!!

Am I missing something? Why are you still working?

If we all strike and tell our students what is really going on, that will shame the powers that be to either pay us all our backpay, as promised, or be honest about the state of the school, to our students and community . If we are going to do this it has to be all of us, not just the select few who will stand up to him. DON’T BE SHEEP PEOPLE!!!
