Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Enough with credit cards

I'm so tired of harassing customers all the time with credit card applications. Can we go back to doing our own jobs, please, instead of having to worry we'll be reprimanded if we don't sell enough credit cards?

We are not just losing current business, we are alienating customers from returning to the stores. This has to stop.

What a stupid business practice. I completely sympathize with employees forced to ask customers these annoying questions. I am trying to make my purchase , and no I don't want to apply for a store card, give a extra dollar to whatever, or become a member of your club.
