Six weeks to go in the quarter

We will see how well end-of-quarter numbers look, and if there is a pull-out from this nose-dive

@Z1eh2hQ-7wwb, consider contacting the Halunen law firm.

UOP should be sued for firing enrollment reps that don’t enroll their quota number. I was forced to enroll a student that said they only wanted the financial aid. My manager said it doesn’t matter why they enroll. My job is to get them ALL enrolled. Sales job. You should not have to sell education to people using government money.

There has not been layoffs with ERs that I have heard of. The threats are true and there are daily threats to write up ERs and take them through the “process” for not hitting numbers. It’s like working for a commission only job without the pay. Daily threats are part of the job now if numbers don’t get met.

There has been very limited new hires because they can’t find anyone. Not even at 45K salary and without a college degree.

If UOP starts trying to fire people instead of laying off, I would assume there will be some lawsuits. The playing field isn’t level, with some ERs getting much more leads than others. Management has said they don’t care and can’t fix the problem of lead distribution. They acknowledge there is a lead distribution problem, but they don’t have the knowledge to fix it. It’s sad they can’t get any system to work. You know, considering we are the largest online provider and largest recipient of VA benefits and student loans.

So if there’s good lawyers out there, leave your contact info. I assume many ERs will be lawyering up if they do start aggressively firing people instead of layoffs. Many ERs I know have been here over 15 years. It’s not justifiable to have someone employed for that long, yet, start a firing process based on performance if nothing has changed. They can try to find a reason, but why would you keep someone on that long if they were that bad. Hard to argue in court with so many tenured ERs. Guess we will see.

Has there been any layoffs in the last 30 days for Enrollment Advisors? How about the next 30 days for Enrollment Advisors? Are Enrollment Managers being told to write up and/or fire any Enrollment Advisors for any reason so they don't have to pay severance and avoid negative news with layoffs?

LOL... Does any of the cartoon commercials work? No. What used to work was because UOP had no competition and the brand had some weight. Now all online schools pretty much operate the same. What students are looking for : cheap cost, transfer credits, free money, and finishing the degree with no effort.
