Thread regarding Repsol layoffs

Time for change!

It was a very rough day at Repsol yesterday. At this point we are operating on skeleton crew. I'd blame most of this on the government, we need a major change in October - we need some strength in the office and we need pipelines - that's good for Canada and it's good for Repsol as well. The entire Oil & Gas industry is hurting, just look at all layoffs in Calgary this May and June.

I'm not sure the old saying,"too big to fail" would apply here.

Interested in hearing from anyone experienced in the Oil Industry.
Thanks!

So where are things headed now?
How long with back to back dismal Quarters can the bleeding continue?
We have had the perfect storm in Alberta Canada...and now to top things off this health disaster.
What does Repsol have to do to survive and come out the other side?
Very concerned.
