Looks like more fresh grads joining in and experienced leaving....

Not everyone here was laid off. I am stuck at GlobalFlounderies bc the wife works for the county. She's not moving, so I got to ride this out. No one actually wants to be at GF. They're either stuck, like me, they are applying elsewhere, or GF will be the first "real job" for them. I have worked at two other plants out west. They have their issue, but they are nowhere near GF in terms of problems, which can be summed up as the management.

People on this site are generally angry (understandable, they were laid off) so they tend to exaggerate. Reality is GF is not much different than the so called greener pastures they talk about. Its actually considered one of the better companies to work for, good pay, benefits, interesting work, leading edge products, etc.
see the amt of job posting ...
Lots of churn. Experience continues to leave for greener pastures and only NCGs and minimally skilled techs are available to replace them. As soon as someone can get a new job, he does.
