Look this is not a bunch of short term planning employees leaving, many who leave, like myself were graded at the 5.0 level. We simply wake up and say where will I be after another ten years. We realize we will be no place better than we were putting our hearts into the company for the previous 10 years. The loyalty is not there. The cost of living is not there. The respect for the employee is not there.. They are left with a bunch of low skilled pencil pushers who tried to jump into the good ole boy system without sacrificing for the company. When I left it was not just about me. It was about how they treated some other very skilled people.. I said this on my last day after being promised principle tech," Sorry man I have nothing left for this company.". They still called me back 2 weeks later and asked me to name my price. At that point its not worth it. trust is already lost...

For those who are asking why people still want to join Micron. People like myself who have freshers/ <3 years experience can't get job so easily, so Micron still among the bigger companies are attractive.

Intel hiring freeze is going on, Micron is hiring.

I left in 2015. I was a network administrator.

I got a job across the street, the same responsibilities, the same level - yet, it is paying about 27% more.

Go figure...

Congrats! It amazes me how many people think that micron is as good as its going to get...I am meeting and/or hearing of more & more people who are much better off in life after micron....as for me, I wish I would have left sooner. My career (and life in general) is so much better post micron. I actually like going to work now!
