How do my students complete the lab assignments if you take my computers from my lab area? Am I supposed to allow my students to leave the lab environment to complete their lab assignments in the LRC? I hope you realize that I can’t be in two places at the same time! You clowns make my job more difficult and unrealistic every day. When will you realize it’s YOU that needs to exit! Stop pillaging resources to save your worthless position! We don’t need you!!!

Layoffs are coming. I bet they shutter another campus too. Exton, Rancho or Lisle would be my guess. I am betting Rancho with Long Beach right down the road.
They will then open another Metro in the Chicago area but in Wi. Or Indiana to get the hell out of Illinois. I hear talk of union in Lisle again so................ Can anyone say 701?
Employees including long term fixtures of the company are now leaving at a rate of about two a week. It’s the clearest message that the confidence in the company has completely eroded. There are departments with only a director left not a comfortable place to be with layoffs ever more likely at the end of September
"UTI is a business who's time has ended". Correct in every way, shape, and form. "It joins circuit city, toys r us and the rubics cube in irrelevance.
UTI has not been relevant in years.
"no one wants to be an auto mechanic working long hours for low wages plus be on the hook for 30K in school tuition to do it. "
The only people who want UTI to succeed are all of the shops that pay their technicians the same hourly wage as a restaurant worker while requiring their employees to spend thousands of dollars on their tools.
I agree with the most recent post. However I still blame the executives that let this happen. We saw this coming 10 years ago and they did nothing about it. I’ve seen students that have a 45k student loan and can’t hardly read and write. But we’re changing one life at a time.... for McWaters.
they're just doing what people running a business do. try to save it. the real problem is no one wants your product anymore. no one wants to be an auto mechanic working long hours for low wages plus be on the hook for 30K in school tuition to do it. especially when community colleges offer the same results for far less cost. UTI is a business whose time has ended. It joins circuit city, toys r us and the rubics cube in irrelevance. if it makes you feel better to blame the executives for the decline do it. but if you replaced everyone there with new people you still have to solve the problem of a low paying industry that is also in the decline.
This is what happens when a company is run by people who don’t have a clue about what we actually do. They only look at numbers and could care less about what the consequences of their stupid decisions are. How many more 15 year plus employees will leave before someone in upper management takes control and the executive team gets the boot.
