I worked at Wind River full-time for more than 10 years


Was able to work remotely, paid well and nice benefits until the sabbaticals were cut. I gave the work/life balance below because I set it myself.


Everything else including lazy, poor management

Advice to Management

What you should have done before laying everyone off in 2018, is cut middle management completely and found a new CEO. Again, they tout an “open door policy” and transparency but it really is not that way at all.

Don't they ALL say we have an open door policy? I hear this every where I have worked and its not that way. Disgruntled employees happen because they see injustices and get passed over in promotions. Happened to me: I trained a new employee to see them get the job I applied for. Yeah..... makes you feel warm and fuzzy. She ended up moving to another dept and is now gone. So much for taking care of those who take care of you. ITs a dog eat dog world in corporate. All about who you know
