It’s easy to blame someone else. If you’re unhappy, clean up your resume and start looking for a new gig.
Will this company survive? If the company stops listening to the leaders who got them in this predicament, or those that are still stuck in “Look how far we have came”, then maybe.
If you really want to be an innovative company, start hiring actual game changers, and start listening to actual professionals that have worked outside of this company and have a track record of performance improvement.
A thousand mile journey begins with the first step...DNR can turn things around, but only if everyone pulls in the same direction. CK can lead this company, but there are hard decisions that will need to be made. Denbury cannot continue to be just an EOR company strangled by debt overhang. DNR must execute flawlessly and yes, even then things will not go as planned. You have to adjust quickly and move on, BUT KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
Blaming others only works so long You’re being paid big money to turn things around Not make excuses.
