Looks like it’s all systems go for the merger on this side with field teams changing directions for a final push this week. Still lots of uncertainty for job losses in the wake of the announcement. Still feeling pretty left in the dark about the fate of the company. Does anyone else have anymore info on what’s happening at HQ?

I heard the sky was green from a senior Sprint executive. Get the picture? Make sure your resume is updated, your certs if you are an engineer or professional are up to date and you contact list is current. It is going to be a very rocky rest of the year for every Sprint employee. If you are in retail, admin, or call center staff well, you know.....
You guys are still calling it a merger. Why? This is an acquisition through and through.
Hope must be a powerful d--g. Know this..... sprint has almost 40 billion in debt, T-Mobile around 25 billion. Couple that with the likely divestiture of the prepaid business all in a segment where prices are dropping and this new entity will remain the cost leader. Thus, I challenge you to build a scenario where there are not significant cuts and job losses by January of next year.
i heard we aren't selling the Sprint campus in Overland Park if the merger goes through - anyone else heard this?
