Over 25 years at Walmart 16 years in personnel, exceeds on evacuation, no coaching and not falling into ppl req. Called career preference and not successful. This is not a clinch it's fact. Long termers applying for ppl that is already a PC or tc vcheck the transfer report, you maybe not falling into transfers req. Yes I called And no it has not been fixed. :(

To the PC that called me clueless, just so you know I still haven't been given my talk with store management, although as a PC I do know what it says but please lets not call one names if you don't know my situation. By the way I don't need a letter to know that my passion has already been damaged by once again how all of this was put down. If they wasent ready to drop the req. Don't drop it and it be wrong these are people's lives, and it's still isn't fixed cause another store near me is having problems all since they redropped the req. The company needs to quit making changes unless what they put out is secure and ready to go. I remember a time this when this would happened
Hey not clueless, not spreading rumors, I may have missed a task about all c and d but none of our c and d associates was only given 37 hours but tc and PC. I saw a Task about department Mgrs being downloaded and I had to do a task with their hours. I would think it maybe paranoia but not of my choice it was how everything has been put out to us. Your most likely right this maybe not the right position for me, but to be rude about my concerns is most likely not the right position for you either. Good luck to us all
The 37 hours was an AMP task Wells ago for all C's and D's. That proves just exactly why they want new personnel. Spreading rumors cause you're too clueless to find the info they give us. Im a PC myself, there were issues work req opening which was communicated in AMP. Just sounds like you have no clue what you're doing in the newer systems.
Update, I now am falling into the ppl req. Only after calling career preference and my MHRM. PC TC look to make sure you are falling into your transfer req. How to do this is in the transfer report in career preference. Was this on purpose or just a glitch? If u don't fall into the transfer req. You most likely will not be chosen for the position if you only fall into your stores req. This is not looking into your actual req. Find the transfer report and look. This may not even matter in the end but they can't say I gave up without a good fight of wanting to continue my love for my job. Please look.
All PC and tc hours have been cut, how many PC are there in the USA? 3 hours times the last 12 weeks that they figure your severance hours for. For me 36 hours lost would be generally speaking about $800.00 now x that by the years that I have worked. 800 x 27=2156.00 less in severance and I am only 1 person now times that by how many stores are in the USA? Look at those savings for getting rid of dedicated hard working associates. Now don't get me wrong all companies do cut backs I get it but these cut backs are getting dirtier than dirt! I can't wait to see how many of us they actually promote to this people lead position. Any questions now why we are being cut hours?

Career preference answer to me not falling into req. Tell does to close req. And reopen. Wonderful. This is a nightmare I am not the only pc/tc having this problem. Severance is on the horizon.
Look at your Productivity Pack about the cut hours. If you are not working the 40, put in 3 hours of PTO time every week. Remember you earn PTO as you use PTO. Don't loose your PTO earning power.
I have tried deleting my transfer, deleting my preferences, re-opting in. Re- putting my transfer and putting my preference back in. I've passed all of my assessments and still nothing. If I am not in the reqs. I probably should take it as a omen that it is not meant to be. Everyone thanks for all of your suggestions
Did you update your CP since the new job code was added? 2 weeks ago the people position only showed pc/tc job codes. Now it shows only People Lead code.
Not sure what you are considering long term but I am a total of 31 years but I had a break in service. This round has been 14. 2 years in personnel. And yes next week my hours are 37. I didn't look ahead but I will now.
I did not look at the req. I went to the transfer report in career preference. There if you click on your name it pulls up your current interests, transfer interests and requistions that you fall in. My tc applied the same place all of hers transfers went through. I passed the test as excellent. Tell me when you call career preference and they give you a reference number don't they usually email you the call.
Yes if have I took the supervisor test. It shows that I am b in My own store req. But not in any of the stores I applied for in a transfer. Is all of this a fluke or am I being paranoid. Anyone's else's hours being cut as a PC or tc??? Cutting hours through HO would this lower severance so that we get less and same them money so they can live better???
Have you taken the Supervisor assessment? Did you pass it? Completed your transfer request? How do you know you're not falling into it? We were told not to look at the req
