Another round today in Product. Word is starting to filter out. Employees, contractors and finally shutting down the AZ office. It will never end. It's a lost cause.

They should have been grateful in the first round to be given a choice of severance OR another job. Most in Milwaukee were only provided a severance without any choice. If you were old enough you got to 'retire'. Forced retirement isn't really retirement. Mr. Schlifske & those who surround him should know better than to send a 'congratulations on your retirement ' card to forced retiree's. The ignorant decision to buy LV is one of the many reasons why Milwaukee employees lost their jobs. No sympathy here for AZ & NY LV employees Alexa sold 'smoke and mirrors' and then left to do the same all over again.
I was a planner at LearnVest and was laid off about a year ago when they shut down LV planning services. They offered us a severance or an alternative job promoting the new planning software to field NM offices. That job included heavy travel and didn't work with my family obligations at the time...I heard from some friends that did take that job all but a select few were laid off this round (last week). People didn't get a choice this time around, I know some of the people staying on remotely would have rather taken the severance and go do something different. S---s to hear about this, that was initially an incredible job and atmosphere.
Was this layoff and office closure the brainchild of Christian Mitchell?
Very sorry. Know some very bright people in Products.
