Imagine a healthcare company laying off clinicians....they area doing the important patient-member clinical education work and yet are underpaid and the first targets for lay offs. When sales and account management staff make >$350K per year, it would seem likely they might be the most vulnerable. But nope! Anthem lays off nurses. In fact they laid off 1/3 of the NICU case managers in February. SMH

I accepted an offer from another company this week, I feel like a weight has been lifted. Dealing with the constant dread and stress of looming layoffs and all the stupid changes Gail has implemented was just too much. This is really stressful ... how much more can we take ...
Today is 6/4. It's starting. Clinical was notified of leadership changes. (1) person is out. Guessing more to come.
Just avoid quick calls with your manager on 6/6. Thursday’s are the day !
