Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

I have a question I am a Sam's Club employee I want to apply for the people lead position on the Walmart side before I did this I have checked with my local Walmart and neighborhood markets and their ptc's or training coordinators are not applying... am I considered internal or external ?any words of advice?

You was correct the 12th it was. All had v to be recommended by SM and pass a VR Assessment by June 12th

It's not the CBLs or the w forms .The company is constantly moving their information around in that web site called the wire. It's more like the black hole.

You can tell those geeks never visited a store.

You should contact an MHRM for the market you want to apply for. Due to you being on Workday and Walmart on Career Preference I think you need to come in another way through the MHRM.

Many PC/TCs are not applying because they know how much work it takes now. While HO is convinced that digitizing everything will streamline personnel, they are sadly mistaken. Most stores in California have a base wage equal to the state minimum wage. We don't get the top tier applicants. In those states where the Federal minimum wage applies, Walmart can be the employer of choice with an $11 starting wage. The top applicants are more experienced and/or more educated. They are more likely to figure out how to do CBLS, request PTO or change their W4 on their own. I predict many People Leads will fail or just give up due to the unrealistic expectations that the company has for them.
