A Class action complaint should be filed for: Breach of Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing, Negligence, Discrimination and Unlawful Practices.

The hand selected employees were forcefully asked to sign the change from full-time to part-time and loss of potential benefits believing it was company wide, which it was not. I personally signed under duress.

All employees are probably protected under A.R.S. 41-1463, where it is unlawful, “to limit, segregate or classified employees or applicants for employment in anyway which would deprive or tend to deprive any individual or employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the individual status as an employee because of the individuals of race, color, religion, s-x, age, or national origin, or in the nature of disability.”

Let's pump the brakes on a judge granting class action status, which is only going to enrich the attorneys, not the people they represent. Also, you'd have to prove damages and whatever discrimination you're alleging. Just because someone is part of a protected group, does not mean they were affected for that reason (disabled, etc). Hours may be reduced simply because another employee is more productive or costs the company less.

Fry's is definitely in financial trouble and it's surprising they haven't closed down a handful of locations. They could likely focus their efforts on larger market stores and investing more in those, as opposed to maintaining a larger footprint. They may also attract better employees.

Hmm it appears on information available, the Fry’s Electronic have pull off the best wind-down scheme last minute and injured their own employees with reckless disregard for upcoming unemployed benefits, intentionally slashed and pre-conceived.

Someone should definitely speak to 12news for action and depose every single person for these apparent unconscionable business practices that would shock any jury.
