What's mind boggling to me is that we have men who have been with this company over 40 years and are being offered 2 years salary to retire and don't, these technicians like thinker said sit in dedicated accounts and collect a hefty paycheck and have limited relative skills. Technicians need to know when its time to retire, your only jeopardizing your own pension and medical, if the company goes under all bets are off. Good luck trying to get anything then. Don't believe the pension is guaranteed its a company pension not union that means there is little to no guarantee and what may or may not be guaranteed is reduced. To survive head count must be reduced, anyone with over 40 years and still here is selfish and the management needs to get them out. They got over enough.
