Thread regarding Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. layoffs

Unions are so over-rated with all the regulations and government involved. Sad when the US has always been the best country in the world to come down to competing overseas and able to do it cheaper. Now the new American dream is peace of mind simply because of companys moving to where they can expand and invest more without having all the overhead regulations and fees of every kind under the sun! Ppl now days need to be thankf to have a job and do whatever they can to make sure they have one in the future. Now your looking at the possibility of 1000+ workers loosing out on it all because they want back what they let go and more. I'm not a rocket scientist but I have seen over the years company's investing in other countries because it's never good enough but the fact it is it never will be.....
