Willbros treat their shop employees really bad - much worse that anyone can imagine. They took benefits that we used to have with no compensation of any kind and told us administrative folks will be the only group receiving the benefits. They seem to have forgotten who actual makes their products. If they plan on being more competitive they better start paying the skilled employees in the shops better and rethink paying admin employees the same or more than the skilled. You get what you pay for, and as soon as the economy picks up more skilled craftsmen will leave. The intimidation used on a daily basis will also become less effective. Hell what do I know? I'm just a uneducated welder! Just keep asking the administrative personnel what to do to keep good shop employees. The truth hurts.
