Thread regarding Comerica Inc. layoffs

I am not sure what's going on right now but I can tell you that 2011 was a bad year and that thousands of people were let go - 2014 may be better than 2013 if looked from the profits perspective, so I would not be concerned at this point in time. At the same time, it's corporate America, you never know what's going to happen and you should be ready to move on at any point in time. In 2011 our layoffs were caused by acquisition of Houston-based Sterling Bancshares, so really no real Comerica employees got affected - Sterling was hit pretty hard though...
