ADSK will up to 100 jobs as we shifts focus from slower growth regions, like Southern Europe, to faster growth areas, CEO Carl Bass told analysts at his company's annual investor day Wednesday in San Francisco.
The San Rafael-based maker of design software for architects, engineers and media professionals disclosed a restructuring plan on Sept. 30 involving job cuts and the consolidation of some leased offices, and predicted it would absorb pre-tax restructuring charges of $15 million to $20 million in cash, including $12 million to $16 million for employee termination benefits and $3 million to $4 million for facilities-related costs.
