I work for Mylan Canada - I am pretty happy here - I can tell you that we had no layoffs here and our business continues to grow. If you worked in Pharma, you know how things go, it's cyclical, it's tough and sales folks get hit all the time - so, anything can be expected. For example, I know that Merck cuts sales folks all the time, nothing like that happens here at Mylan, but at the same time you can never be sure so always be prepared for workforce reduction. Work on your skills, work on your style, and stay ahead of your game - that's it - you'll be fine...

@pYaef he's not here any more
I wonder, four years on Andrew, if you still work for Mylan in Canada. In late 2016 they laid off close to 40 sales reps in Canada and in March of 2018 they laid off another 50. The senior management in Canada is woeful, and the USA is not much better. This company has no plan, and in Ontario, the largest Pharma marketplace e in Canada almost no market share on the generic side of the business - and that is their core business. Their purchase of Abbott EPD was a total disaster for them. Abbott sol$ them a pig in a poke and made out like bandits, Mylan was left holding a bag full of nothing. The Epipen pricing fiasco in the USA shows how Mylans senior management plans for the future, and who paid for that disaster ? All of the employees they have laid off since. And talk about a lack of integrity, read about your CEO’s supposed Masters Degree fiasco.
