Thread regarding Time Warner Cable Inc. layoffs

i dont think this is a rumor any more - we all know what's going to happen once we merge w/comcast. they have an upper hand. our IT will be absorbed, many systems will be integrated into comcast systems and our folks will be redundant. same thing with finance, the corporate finance will be annihilated. to continue, TWC HR will be hit big time also, marketing, etc. so, on the corporate level pretty much all of us will be hit in some fashion. now, for the people in operations, our foot soldiers may be a bit more lucky as someone will have to do work, so you can assume that this segment will be less affected if compared to corporate.
