Thread regarding Alcon Inc. layoffs

I used to work for Alcon - I left on my own while the getting was still good. I read these posts during my breaks because I wanted to see how my friends and those I hated did during the recent cuts. Also it's just curiosity to see how a place I was at for over 10 years is doing. I will say, from the home office, it surely seems like some if the cuts were used to get rid of the poor performers. But that is just VC. Can't speak to the rest though.
