Job cuts have been announced here is well, the cuts will take place over 3 to 6 month because of the EU and local law restrictions and council rules. Nothing is for sure right now but we know the cuts will take place

Europe cuts seem to be on their way. Actions like Performance Reviews are were planned in the past few days and short term action plans are requested for reps in pharma and surgical. Seems like they are up to something there as well. Any other movement or signs in europe? Anyone?
WaveLight (German Alcon Division) announced on 5/13 that 50% of R&D folks will be let go. It'll take several months for this to finish, the same reason as stated above, workers are more protected here in Europe.
