A coworker told me that she didn't want to conduct a peer review because I am a girl and she doesn't know how to talk to me. I told Management about this incident. They didn't do a thing about it. That woman left Varian on her own accord for another job offer. A year or so later, the woman applied to Varian. Not only did the same management hire her back but very shortly after promoted her to a management position.

It’s actually not hearsay, as the poster described what happened to them specifically. It doesn’t appear to be s-xual harassment, but before attacking someone’s opinion of their own experience, make sure you know what you are talking about.

What you're describing isn't sexual harassment. Not only is it not sexual harassment, your claims are based on hearsay/gossip. Varian has a zero tolerance policy regarding sexual harassment which I've seen enforced on multiple occasions during my time with the company. It is very obvious by your comment that you were simply gossiping about a manager/supervisor that you didn't like for personal reasons and then resented her further when she was promoted.
