I have also heard that one person is asked to quit in march when his 2 years at igate completes. He is in a project and billable also. He is asked to complete all project work and leave
My brother is in iGate he joined the company last year on May as fresher. First they provided him training in some technology and after completion of training they put them on another technology and gave them training. Now after completing the training he's currently on bench, everyday after coming back from office he tells me that company is firing its employees. He said that apart from experienced employees they are also firing employees who had completed there 1 year and currently on bench. I don't get it why company is recruiting while they have so many people on bench. Why don't they adjust them. This is really sick....
I heard many top officials are asked to quit.... Some Program managers and above and also some Sales people asked to leave. I dont think it is just people on bench alone.... Somebody who was working on Project was called and told as 2 weeks initislly and then made as 3 days.
I heard there is more layoff tomorrow, any news for that
This is THE worst Organization and it is getting worst after departure of P. Murthy. That person has ability and Vision of business. However current Management scenario is just to show profile and make quick money for own.
Better start looking outside. This is SHIT PLACE TO WORK....
Igate is such a third class company, becoz they force their employee to resign without notice period and salary,
employees who are working more thn 5 years in this company and thn suddenly company says, TODAY IS YOUR LAST WORKING DAY IN IGATE!!!!!
SO BAD FOR COMPANY LIKE IGATE
People on Bench, with least rating in appraisal are the target. Those who are serving notice period being released early.
Count would be around 3000. Already half of the people are thrown out and some people are given termination letters without salary.
Is the layoff for Offshore or even Onsite people are targeted?
IGATE is planning to layoff 1500-2000 people this year.
It's not looking good buddy
