some talk at mason that they are on verge of being sold or going bankrupt any chance essendant is negotiating a buyout of some of the mason biz??

Now that we are changing name we may want to rename this board to Essendant. Not sure how many people we are planning to lay off, but we have 77 facilities, so go figure, it may be massive. Fun in Deerfield, what can I tell you...

another round of layoffs at staples this week. it is logical to think that sp will begin some butchering at essendant soon as well. then they can fully merge the 2 companies into one entity.

I heard rumor that staples/sp is buying mason I find it hard to believe. then again we didn't get any of the school orders that we normally do this time of year.

jan 31 marks one yr with sp/staples ownership. will things go on as they have been or will there be changes? any ideas?

so now we're overstocking to get a jump on price increases the assumption being consumers will continue their buying frenzy during inflationary conditions..... i'm looking forward to my layoff

it seems we will continue to bend over backwards for mason. i was hoping they would pull some of their biz and give this sh*thole co a wake up call. they have mason and barely any other clients. wrong way to do business.
