Management enacted mass layoffs of 2% of the Water Division (no management jobs lost that I am aware of) and then recently rolled out salary increases and bonuses to everyone. Wow. This company is terrible. Hope their clients find out.

being around for 20 years does not imply one does not have performance issues

These layoffs were NOT PERFORMANCE RELATED! You do not keep someone for 20 years if they are poor performers. Many of these people were long term employees. Last one hired first to go does not apply here. Long term high salary people were let go.
