I usually don't give much credence to rumors, but now I've heard so many about more layoffs occurring before the end of the year (and from different sources) that I'm convinced something big is coming.
November seems to be mentioned the most as the possible date, but it could happen before or after then.
If anybody knows more about what we are looking at, please be kind and share.
I worked at Merck for 10 years...November has become known as Black November in Merck culture...which due to this has become a very toxic and backstabbing environment.

Well it sounds like the rumors were true in Durham. I hear they are letting a ton of contractors go before the end of the year. Good luck to everyone looking for a new position!
Many layoffs are on the horizon. 2022 will see the end of Januvia. Take a look at your sales goals that make up your SIP. Millions of dollars will disappear when Januvia is done. What will replace it? Maybe Keytruda, but Steglatro is not the answer. It was sold as cheaply as possible to lock in the medicaid contracts. You don't need any reps to sell medicaid contracts.
