Thread regarding Oceaneering International Inc. layoffs

How long can Oceaneering hold on?

Another 25.5 million loss with Rod at the helm. Must be looking grim for C-Suite occupants. We need better leadership.

Agreed!! The trouble is the current workforce is not hungry for success, they blame the 'market' for everything. The truth is, it's always been a challenge, so try harder!

That could be true. The bids were not competitive. Reality is there is not a lot of work though and the mom and pops consistently under bid OI. Common problem all over OI. Many of the experienced knowledgeable bidders are gone. The leadership is weak.

There’s no work because the Ozzy won’t fight for it!!! Knowing our senior management they’ll probably promote him, because he can tell a good story.

There is no work. No need to staff an office. He may as well go home?

It’s going to take a lot more ‘action’ than the current ongoing changes in APAC, which I may add was orchestrated by the Ozzy VP who made it no secret that he wants to move back to Australia.......work that one out.
We have poor Senior Management apart from the COO......let’s hope he his given the authority to ‘manage’.1

Well, the email that came out this afternoon about APAC is action, anyway. Not sure if that came from Deloitte or from Chuck, but it’s a start I guess. As an aside, I’m really glad that it wasn’t an email from marketing telling us to check out the the exciting changes coming to the APAC region on some video posted on the Helm.
